Flapper sticking or sometimes the gaskets that go around the seams come out and block the flappers

Testimonial: "Would that make the lights act up on the dials though?"

that doesnt seem like it would make the lights act up though. It also is throwing a code about the speed sensor, if that is related in any way

speed sensor should't have anything to do with your heater control not unless you have a short in the dash somewere.

Possibly the plugs either aren't connected properly or incorrectly plugged. Recheck the plugs. Also check fuses, maybe one blew while it was being plugged. The work should have been done with the battery disconnected for that reason.

You may have a clip broken on the underside of the vent dial. Take the control unit out or at least get it in position to drill two very small holes and insert two very small screws into the metal clip where it fits over the cable in the back of the control unit. What has happened is the plastic broke at one end where the metal clip fits under the plastic.

AC light

Yes, this appears to be a 'feature' and not a problem. They might have been drinking when programming the a/c and recirc features of the Rogue's ventilation system as everyone seems to be confused about how it defaults to certain settings at various times.
