94 Oldsmobile bravada. When the gasllight goes on my car dies when stopping. Lights and electrical still work, just engine stops working. When gas gets lower it does on turns and I loose power steering. Starts right back up. Fuel tank and lines just replaced (could they have done it wrong?) Also starts cold then warms up when driving. Any ideas?? HELP!
EGR valve clogged up...Air mass flow system needs cleaning....Change air filter

Try disconnecting the electrical connector at the transmission and see if it stall when you put it in gear. You will get a service engine light, but not to worry, it will go back out once you reconnect.
By disconnecting the wire connector we can tell if it is transmission related.

You have a problem in the fuel pump relay circuit for sure then. I'm betting the relay, but it could be that dropping resistor.

I had the same issue. I changed all the standard things. turns out my problem was an orang wire in the wiring harness that runs by the fans when i puled on it, it snapped in half. i repaired the wire and all my problems went away. good luck people

Checkk the EGR system for the EGR valve should open when the engine gets to operating temperature. If not the engine will stall out
