if by bypass you mean the ignition switch. jump it at the relay, find the starter relay the relay should have a diagram on the side and numbered posts on the bottom with a jumper wire you can jump the post in the power distribution. look at the diagram there should be a switch which shows normally open you need to jump the posts that would close this switch and this will jump you starter make sure you key is on to start the vehicle. hope this helps some

Solution #2 by dr4saturns was on the money. The bundle of wires was easy to get to and u can see where the wires connect (w/ flashlight). I wiggled the wires and .. Bam! Car started right up. I've been searching the internet (a lot!) and have seen many people with this same problem .. good battery, starter is good, dash lights work, headlights work but no dim when trying to start. No dome lights, no radio, no door chime, no door locks. Now I just need to find a fuse box but i'm not sure it's within my scope to replace, seems a bit complicated for a shadetree mechanic. it should be in the under hood fuse box... a relay looks like a 1"x1" cube (most are black in color)... it has 4 or 5 prongs on the bottom.... the fuse box cover should have a diagram on it (or in it)

This is a fuel related problem.

Replace the fuel pump.
