SOURCE: location of fuse box/panel for 2004 yukon denali xl

There are 2 fuse panels in the Denali.
One is a panel on the drivers side, its on the dash but facing the door.

The ohter is under the dash and above the pedals, this one is much tougher to access.

Your Owner's Manual should tell you where the fuses are that you need to access.

SOURCE: 2004 GMC Yunkon Denali is misfiring

it could be alot of things...you could start by routine maintnence( new spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, oil change, the in line fuel filter) also take into consideration what kind of gas you are using...i know it sucks spending $100 a week in gas with your AWD 6.0 liter V-8...but if ur not running premium it could very well be your problem. I have also heard of the denali's having oxygen sensor issues...is it throwing a check engine code?

SOURCE: 04' GMC YUKON DENALI CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON & RUNS FINE????

Go to an Advance or Auto Zone and ask them to read your fault codes. This is a service they will do for free in hopes of selling you a replacement part. You likely have a faulty sensor that is causing the light to come on. Good Luck! I hope this is very helpful!

SOURCE: 2001 GMC Yukon Denali - Sunroof Won't Close

check the fuse first then the relay. if the fuse is ok and the relay is ok then do the thump test hit in different places around the roof then try it then hit in another place and try it you will have to do this a lot of times if you get it to work ok it it works then sticks again then it's getting jammed.

Pin out diagram for sunroof motor for 2014 denali

I don't have access to specific pin out diagrams for the sunroof motor of a 2014 Denali. However, I can provide some general information that may be helpful.
The wiring for a sunroof motor typically consists of a power wire, a ground wire, and one or more control wires. The power wire supplies voltage to the motor, while the ground wire provides a return path for current. The control wire(s) are used to signal the motor to move the sunroof in a particular direction.
To obtain the specific pin out diagram for the sunroof motor on your 2014 Denali, you may want to consult a wiring diagram for that vehicle. Wiring diagrams can typically be found in the vehicle's service manual or obtained from a reputable automotive repair website. You may also be able to obtain the information from a dealership or auto parts store that specializes in the Denali.
It's important to note that modifying or customizing a vehicle's electrical system can be dangerous and may require specialized knowledge and tools. If you're not comfortable working with automotive electrical systems, it's recommended that you seek assistance from a qualified technician or professional.

How do you reset sunroof in a 2001 Monte Carlo with 3400 model I

check fuse and relay if good than possible motor ot track problem their should be a mechanical bypass that will let you close it if stuck open the following information is courtesy of monte carlo forum
To check the condition of your original sunroof guides:
  1. Gl*** in closed position.
  2. Locate & remove 3 torx bolts on each side of sunroof glass. Lift glass out of sunroof opening & set aside in a safe place.
  3. Locate "J" shaped cover plate at front of sunroof track assembly. Remove 2 torx bolts from each cover plate.
  4. Lift up bracket to remove.
  5. Inspect the plastic guides on each side. The sunroof cables attach to guides on front outer corner. Inspect this area closely for damage.
  6. Do not operate the sunroof with the J plates removed.
Troubleshooting:
If the sunroof guides are not broken & the glass is a uniform height along the rear edge your problem may be a stripped gear inside the motor. The motor has a manual override:
  1. Get access to the motor by removing the map light/switch console or lowering the front of the headliner.
  2. Insert a large standard screwdriver into the nylon bushing at the center of the motor hub. Push up & turn the screwdriver to manually move the sunroof glass. If the unit will fully open & close manually, you most likely only need a replacement motor.

If your sunroof is stuck in the open position follow these steps to get it closed:
  1. Remove the glass.
  2. Try to close the unit without the glass. Many times one side will still be operational and close correctly.
  3. Try to slide the inoperable lift arm forward. If it moves, slide it forward until it stops.
  4. You now need to slide the original plastic guide forward to lower the arm to the closed position. Using a standard screwdriver, push it forward. The lift arm should begin to lower.
  5. If the lift arm will still not fully lower, remove the J plate as explained above, sometimes the sunroof cable will need to be lifted up to allow the guide to fully slide forward.
  6. Reinstall glass.

it is usually a complex procedure involving removing the roof console with the switch etc, and then winding back the roof with a suitable tool , the owners manual should explain in detail how this is done on your vehicle

Sunroof stuck open on 2003 gmc yukon. When you push the switch it tries to move but can't. any ideas?

Had the same problem with my 2003 Denali, dealer said they would have to replace the entire "module" for around $928, plus four hours labor. I called a sunroof repair shop and they said to hold down the "close" button for 10 seconds and it would re-set itself. It worked perfectly. Never going back to that dealer again!

My sunroof will not close it is in the tilt position change fuse

hi the relay for this might be stuck, check fuse box for relay, if not in there, ( i assume the switch for the sunroof is in the head lining above in the center ) remove the panel for the switch and there might be a relay in there, alternatively you should be able to manually close it, this should be in the same place.....hope this is correct
