#1 cylinder is on the left side of the engine in the front. The left side is the driver side of the truck, just to be clear.

SOURCE: I have a 2006 chevy

Actually GM gas engines are 1,3,5,7 on the left and 2,4,6,8 on the right.
The diesel engine is actually just the opposite. 1,3,5,7 are on the right and 2,4,6,8 are on the left

97 silverado hydro lock number 5 ctlender after replacei.h injectors and rebuilt motor too still same thing happened hydro lock

For an engine to become hydrolocked requires fluid to enter one or more cylinders, and the fluid needs to be more volume than the combustion chamber allows when the piston is at its uppermost travel in the compression stroke. In other words your engine has locked up.--------your saying pressure hydro lock is fluid what is entering --gas --oil-coolant

P0300 code silverado 1500 4.8v8 engine multi mist fire

more than one cylinder is without spark

check coil or coil packs... contacts .. corrosoion
leads
plug itself

Code P0300 is a code that is generated when your engine has a misfire that is not related to only one cylinder. Sometimes this code will be set in addition to other codes such as P0301 which means that there is a misfire on cylinder 1 (cylinder 1 is the number one cylinder when looking at the firing order.

HOW TO REPAIR A po307 engine code on a 2007 chevy silverado

the code p0307 is a misfire code on cylinder number 7 which is the 3rd cylinder on the driver side need to check spark plug and plug wire for that cylinder as it can be anything from a sticking valve to a vacuum leak what i do to check this is remove number 5 cylinder plug and wire and install them on cylinder number 7 and put plug and wire from 7 on 5 and clear codes and drive till light comes on and see if it comes up with same code if it does you will need to check for a vacuum leak or a valve problem with cylinder 7 if it comes up with a p0305 then change the plug and wire

I've an up stream o2 sensor for my truck but i don't know where on the front of engine it is located. Can you help me out with some kind of picture so i can change it out?

This actually depneds on which one you need to change. Each side of the engine will have considered the number one sensor but you will also need to know whether you need bank 1 or 2. Bank one has the number one cylinder/spark plug. Let me know if you need anything else.
