Im about to refill fuel in gas station, i cant find the opening lid

look under the car drivers side. it should be mounted to the frame about mid way under the car. it will be a metal cylinder with 2 lines connected to it. one of the lines will be going to the front and the other will be going to the back of the car.

hi this sounds like it could be a couple of things, first the obvious have you checked the fuse? or it might be the relay in the fuse box might need replacing, and the fuel sender unit in the fuel tank, you also can check out the wires going to the sender unit, sometimes you can find these under the rear seat or in the boot/trunk area might be a simple case of one of the wires have come adrift there is a couple of things to check before having the sender unit replaced or the Gage..hope that helps

Question is whether the cable/unlatch device is operating, or if the spring that pushes the fuel door open is out-of-position or broken. Have someone else operate the button while you have a fingernail or non-scratching inplement ready to gently pry the door open. If the door does not open, there may be a problem with the cable/unlatch device. If you can get the door to open by hand when the button is operated, you may have a broken or displaced sping, which will be apparent once the door is open. I fixed this issue on our '92 Sidekick by installing a small spring from an old flashlight, set up so as to push gently on the door near the hinge point, while wrapped around the original support bracket. Hello: look in the trunk on the side where the fuel door is. there may be a manual release handle to open it. Then check your fuse box(s) and see if you have any open fuses.
