When idle, i give it a lil gas, rpm goes up then lower than 1000 then dies

IAC valve problem. Nissan has a updated harness (with one way diode inside of the harness) to prevent backfeeding for the IAC valve and a new IAC valve also gets installed. That's where I would look. IAC valve or "idle air control" valve.

Is the engine light on? Check the air inlet hose between the throttle body & MAF sensor for cracks or leaks. Try unplugging the MAF & see if there is any difference

I am having the same issue after I changed my battery today. Upon doing some research it seems like there is some way of aiding the computer with proper idling. I haven't done it yet... plan on going to the dealership where I got the battery, but from my understanding you disconnect the negative line from the battery for a few mins, reconnect, and then apply gas at 3000 rpm for a few mins until the fan kicks on. AND this will help reset your car to proper idling. Good luck

Do you have the idle speed turned up to keep it from dying? Because it is high. Check engine light on? Have you checked for vacuum leaks at the gasket under the throttle body? How does the car run under acceleration? You might have a worn distributor shaft.
