first never plug back in to that trailer, it may have bad wiring, the next thing to do is to check the front and rear bulbs, they may have blown,if it was a fuse the signal inside would not blink,so this tells me you may have blown the bulbs, and also this trailer is unhooked from the van and lights still dont work?. good luck.
Testimonial: "No you are Mistaken. Bulbs we're not blown. There were 2 fuses blown 1 in each fuse box. c34rear parking in fusebox below seat and c27bcm under hood"

Try a couple of new bulbs and hope it hasnt burnt a wire in the wire harness.

My suggestion would be to not buy GM cars and trucks. A man died in VA Beach in one of these same vehicles because the vehicle suddenly caught on fire while driving due to a fuel leak in the engine compartment. GM will never admit there is a problem. Cheaper to pay off families of people dead or injured than to re-tool the plant and/or do a recall.
If you own one of these "gubbment motors" vehicles, get rid of it while you still have your life.
