1) Master power window switch on the driver door may be bad.
2) Make sure the passenger door master switch has the passenger door switch enabled. If the switch on the passenger door wont raise the window, you probably have a bad window regulator. If it raises the window then the master switch is bad.
3) If the window makes noises when you use the switch and doesn;t raise, then the regulator is bad, Check EBAY for sales, that's where you or your mechanic can find them...Chris

The rear windows on my '04 Saturn Ion won't open from any of the controls.

Rear Passenger Power Window Operation
The rear passenger power window switches receive battery voltage through the window lockout control circuit if the window lockout function is disabled. Ground for the rear passenger power window motors is supplied through normally closed up and down contacts of both the rear passenger power window switches and the driver power window switch. When the either rear passenger power window switch is placed in the down position, the power window motor down control circuit is switched to 12 volts and is applied to the down side of the rear passenger power window motor. Since the other side of the rear passenger power motor is connected to ground through the normally closed up contacts of both the rear passenger and driver power window switches, the window travels down. By placing the rear passenger power window switch in the up position, the polarity of the power window motor is reversed and the window travels up.
The rear passenger power windows can also be controlled from the driver power window switch.

Did you try pushing the lock out switch on the drivers master switch ?

Passenger window switch works but the drivers side switch does not

was regulator bad? did it work from drivers side switch before you did regulator repair?..if so passenger side switch wiring has issue and is not sending signal through it back to the drivers side master switches.. otherwise you need to pin test for power up power down on drivers side switch and repair that if issue going to the window on passenger side.. (possible pinched at door jam area common)

The motor on the passenger side is shorted and is now tripping the circuit breaker. Odds are, the back window motor is also bad. You have to take the panel off to check the motor. You can power it directly to verify it has failed.

Passenger side automatic window switch is not working in my 2004 Chevy Aveo. The window is operational from the driver's side master switch but not the passenger side. Im thinking its a fuse or a relay,...

Make sure the window lockout button is not depressed on the master window switch. This will turn off the other switches and not let them control there respective windows.

Power is supplied to all the windows from one fuse and one relay. So if the master switch operates the window than we know the fuses and relays are o.k. We know the master switch will operate the window so that tells us the window motor and ground side of the passenger window motor circuit are also good.

Which leaves us with a bad switch or no power to the switch. The passenger window switch gets its power to operate independently from the master switch window lockout button. When the button is off power is supplied to the passenger switch and allows the passenger to operate the window themselves.

The only thing you need to do is check for power at the passenger switch on the brown wire with orange stripe. If there is power there then you have a bad switch.

Passenger Window Stuck all the way Down

Try switching the power window switch from the passenger side to the drivers side. Before you do that try with the switch on the up position, wiggle it from side to side. The contacts may be worn and by wiggling it may make contact. Other then that try to park it in side or garbage bag taped to keep rain out till you get it to the shop.
Hint, take it to a Auto window repair shop to replace the switch if it's bad or if the motor is bad. They have more experience to removing the door panels and removing the power window regulator (motor) if that needs to be replaced.
Good luck and hope this helps.
