My oil light came on in my 2005 Mazda 6 I added oil and light is still on. Could the oil pump be going bad?

If DPF means Diesel Particulate Filter, no you don't need to change this cartridge. Somewhere near 120000Km you have to refill the additive tank with Eolys additive.

This problem sounds like ablown head gasket, this would make the oil mix in with the gas and would result in discolored smoke out of the exhaust pipe.

you have to use a screw driver and hammer to tap it to the left until the tabs line up with the notches on the ring.

It is attached to the fuel pump. Both are located in your fuel tank.
