I need to replace the 99 buick century side mirror

I need to replace the complete 99 buick century passinger mirror, and I am wondering how to remove the small interior door panel that is on the other side without taking the whole door apart, but there are no sign of screws or what holds it in place and I do not want to break it. Joe H

There is a small plastic piece (triangular shape) at the top of the door panel, opposite of the mirror. It is held in place by a plastic clip. You can gently pop that out, with a flat blade screwdriver or something similar. That will expose 3 bolts with nuts on them. On my 2000 Century, they are 10 mm. Take off those three nuts, and the mirror will come off.

Replace left side rear view mirror/2005 buick century

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door
