Hi....
The fuel Pump relay (main relay)
On your Honda Accord is located:
Left side of the dash, near left side of the steering column.
On direction under the Instrument cluster.
You will need to remove the Cruise control Module if your car is equipaded with cruise control.
The cruise control module is atached fro 2 screw 10mm.
One on the steering column the other one at the Instrument bracket.
After you remove the cruise computer, you will see the relay.
Is a little bigger that a regular relay colour gray.
And the number on the relay is : RZ0088.
I hope this help on your question.
Thank you for use fixya....

There is a relay mounted way up under the dash on the driver side. It is about 1"x1"x2" and it says Mitsuba on it. This is the PGMFI relay, sometimes called the main relay or fuel injection relay. It is very likely the problem. You can buy another one, or there was a bulletin on how to repair it. You need to take it out, pop the cover off, and resolder the cracked solder joints on the pc board that the relays are mounted on. Really not that hard if you have a little soldering experience. If not, just buy another one, about 50 bucks.

The Main relay on your vehicle is defective. When the relay is operating while the engine is started and running, it gets hot. Add the hot weather to the relay and they break inside. The relay is located on the side firewall driverside above the left kick plate inside the car,and is secured with a 10mm hex cap screw (bolt). Replace this relay, and your vehicle should start.
It looks like this;

Hi!!
Check for a 15A Fuse labeled FUEL PUMP on the cabin Fuse Box located in the front seating area, driver side, under dash, behind kick panel.
The diagram shows the Main PCM relay controlling the Fuel Pump, but it wont hurt to check the cabin fuse box under hood, passenger side, rear side of strut tower, mounted in fuse/relay box on firewall
