SOURCE: Have a 2000 VW Beetle. The alarm won't turn off!

My 2000 Beetle does same thing (although not all the time). Just found an internet post that suggests there is a problem in the door lock sensor. I assume you are using a regular key - not
the keyless entry - like I am. He also said that you can disable the alarm (also disables the
keyless entry - which doesn't bother me) by leaving the front door AND the rear trunk open and
starting the car up. Seems to work so far. I will get the door lock sensor replaced and turn the
alarm system back on (not sure how yet), and let you know if that stops the problem.

92 Toyota 4runner truck was running perfectly fine Later in the day went to start and the alarm just started going off and wouldn't turn off. Truck won't start even with keys turned in igniti

The alarm system somehow got activated , this is usually because the battery becomes discharged or disconnected try doing this:
Remove the key from the ignition
disconnect the negative battery terminal
put the key back in and turn to ON
exit the truck and leave door open
reconnect the battery terminal
get in and leave door open, if the alarm horn stays off it should start.

Key fob wont re set on my ssan yan rexton

I recently changed the battery on my key fob for my ssanyong rexton. I then did the following for the key fob to make it work. 1. Enter vehicle and close all doors.

2. Put seatbelt on (or clip it into the buckle) to shut the warning buzzer off.

3. Put key in ignition, turn to run position but don't start it.

4. Press and hold both buttons on key fob until red light on fob stays on. Then let go of both buttons. Then pressed the alarm button then the panic button, somthing like that. To be fair the button sequence after the red light came on is a bit vague. The alarm was blaring so i was happy when it just stopped.

Both key fobs with new batteries dont respond. I set the alarm off when i manualy open the door and alarm wont allow me to start car for more than two seconds. What do i do??

The question is .... Did you get the keys wet? I know you won't want to hear this but if you replaced the batteries and they are still not responding then either the batteries are dead from new or you will need to replace the key(s) through your chrysler dealer ( very expensive). I also had a similar problem with my 08 Avenger where I replaced the battery on my key and it would unlock the doors/turn off alarm but when I started the car it would only run for a minute then shut off. Luckily I had the second key that was operational so I could make it down to have my key replaced that was bad. Hope this helps.

I have a 2005 JGC 5.7 hemi and sometimes remotes wont work only when you want to unlock it.If you use the key to open door alarm sounds. what could be the problem?

Have you tried a new battery in the remote, or do you have a second remote you can test. Either your remote is worn out or the battery is dead.
Once you lock the car with your remote it will active the alarm and if you use your key it won't deactive the alarm only your remote will, on some cars putting the key in the ignition will deactive it.
If you can deactive your alarm with your remote and can just manualy lock and unlock your doors and that should prevent your alarm from going off until you get a new remote or battery.

Left lights on ,and ran down battery. When i try to jump start, alarm goes off,key fob wont work till battery charges tried putting key in ignition and turning key, tried locking and unlocking door. what...

Find the alarm and disconnect it, or locate the fuse to the alarm and remove it. Then you can charge the battery without all the noise. Once the battery is charged, hook the alarm up and disarm it with the remote.
