Can't see it from the underhood area. Only from under the engine - on passenger side at rear of block.

SOURCE: How do I replace the starter on a 2000 Dodge Intrepid?

Before changing a starter, you need to do some testing. First, check that your battery is holding 12v or better. Next, check that there is 12v at the main connection on the starter. Then chjeck that with the key turned to "start" there is 12v at the small terminal on the starter. If not, check the relay that operates the starter.(it may be bad). If readings are good, and block ground and positive cable is connected and clean, replace starter.
To remove starter, disconnect positive cable from battery, unbolt starter, remove harness. Sometimes removal involves twisting unit and manuvering around stuff that's in the way. If you find that does not work, then remove whatever is keeping it from coming out. Yes: it comes out from underneath. (unless you see an obvious clear path to remove from above there is no set rule, just do what's easier) Replacement is the opposite of removal...no tricks. If your radio has an anti theft code, know it before you start or after you are finished it won't work. You will loose settings though.
good luck

SOURCE: 02 yukon denali xl wont start

Did you try to replace the starter cable? is the Truck turning over or just clicking.? If it's turning over and not starting. Best guess would be one of two things. Knock sensors Located under intake manifold. they get wet and deteriorate or the fuel pump. I've replaced all three on mine. 233k still running strong...

SOURCE: 02 yukon denali security light stays on will not

Several GM products, including the Chevrolet Impala and Malibu, the Oldsmobile Alero, the Pontiac Grand Prix, and Saturn Ion, have issues with the Security light coming on. This is many times an indication of a failing Body Control Module (BCM). Initially, the Security light will come on then go off, progressing to a constant on light, before the car will refuse to start. Other symptoms may include erratic action of electronics, a clicking sound coming from the glove box, and the air conditioning failing to blow cold air. I recommend a shop that specializes in the electronic systems of vehicles to diagnosis and make the necessary repairs. They should keep the car until they replicate the symptoms described. A new BCM from GM should cost about $230; plan on another $200 for them to diagnose the problem, replace the unit, and program the new unit. The dealers quote between $700 and $1,100 for the same repair. My experience and the experiences I have read on the internet, indicate the new BCM should last only about a year.

SOURCE: 2006 Yukon Denali, oil pressure gauge malfunction

Most likely the oil pressure sensor is bad. Its located in the very rear of engine on top of bell housing area.

My 2003 Denali won't start I turn the key and just get a fast clicking noise good battery new starter and all power works

Where's the clicking noise coming from ? Under the dash , under the hood in the engine compartment ? Do starter circuit voltage drop test ! When the key is in start position is there constant B+ voltage at the 10 amp crank fuse in the under hood fuse box ? This is an input to the PCM - engine computer to energize the starter relay ! Starter Voltage Drop The battery is good , starter is new ,what about the cables ? watch this video on testing starter circuit !

2002 Yukon denali headlights not work....all otherlights and signals work fine, it is not the headlight switch or the switch on the column any ideas?????

Check the solenoid switch on the electrical panel under the hood. Just switch the solenoid for the lights with one of the others just to test it. This is a cheap thing to replace.

Have a 2000 yukon denali, the car wont turn over, replaced the battery still wont turn over is it the starter or could it be the relay?

The next thing to check is the amount of corrosion at the other end of the heavy battery cables; any car exposed to road spray will eventually develop problems at the starter or where the negative cable connects to chassis or block. Any cable connecting these two should also be removed and cleaned.
Remember to ALWAYS disconnect the negative battery terminal first to avoid damage to tools and vehicle.

It is either under the driver side dash area between the brake pedal the door. Or under the hood near the left or right fender
