The 2003 BMW 325i uses a coil-over-plug system, so the spark plugs are connected directly to the coils, deep in the cylinder head.

To get to the spark plugs:

  1. Remove sound reduction or ignition coil covers as needed
  2. Open control box cover
  3. Disconnect ignition coil electrical connector by lifting up plug lock
  4. Remove ignition coil by pulling straight up
  5. Use the necessary tools to remove the spark plugs
There are six plugs, and the factory plugs that come with the car are most likely the NGK BKR6EQUP (laser platinum, 4-ground electrode) ... or if it's not the platinum version, the BKR6EKUB (a dual-ground electrode, semi-surface discharge type).

misfire happens because there is still fuel not burned in the cylinder so when its pushed out its burned in exhaust tube because the heat thats why you hear these small explosions. this caused if your sparking pluge not firing well . or there is a leak in the intake valve . in your case i advice you to check your sparking plug . if this helped pls vooote

SOURCE: What is the procedure to reset the 4 digit car security code on a 1995 BMW 325i?

You have to ask the dealer to look up your code for you. Then you have to leave the key in the first position (do not start car) and leave it for 1.5 hours. Then come back and radio will accept your 4-digit code.

SOURCE: I have a 2001 bmw 325i it is spurtering like the

I only have a couple suggestions. Double, double, double check the ignition wires. More often than not, they will be place in the wrong firing order. If have done that and problem persist, replace all the ignition wires withnew, and double check the wiring order. I'd be interested to know if this is the same symptoms it had prior to you replacing the plugs or after? Good luck

I have a bmw e30 325i it cranks but will not start so what can I do to fix it?

Fuel Pump - can you here the pump (usually under the right hand back seat) running with ignition on?
Fuel Delivery (injectors) - squirt some fuel (just a cap full) into the manifold.
Spark - pull a lead off a spark plug and use a spare spark plug resting on the exhaust manifold.
Crank sensor - Injectors won't inject fuel if the ECU thinks the engine isn't turning. Crank sensor is at the front right lower side and as it gets older, the wire gets brittle and breaks most of the time where it meets the hard end. The connector is under the throttle body and should read 500-600 ohms.

Bmw 1995 325i

It's unkiely that all the door actuators are bad. The problem sounds like a voltage loss to the circuit. Check the fuses for the door locks.

this car has a factory security system. if it failed, you can cut the wire that leads to the dme.the wire is in the round connector on the left front of the engine compartment. the wire is either purple or purple with black stripe.

Miss fire on 1991 325i BMW

This may be caused by bad spark plugs or wrong gapping size please check that first then check for bad spark plug wires. This should be located on the top of the engine.
