Oil driping under motor - 2000 Nissan Quest

Check your hoses going to the heater core,they are going thru firewall.Fell thehoses for coolant. Hose Clamps may just need to be tightened.

Could be a hose, could be a soft plug, could be a water pump, could be an intake gasket. Need a little more information, couldn't the people who found the leak tell what was leaking? You will probably have to get under it and look around and see where the water is coming from. Please rate my answer so I am rewarded points for it.

2000 audi a4 is built with a transaxel meaning all tires rotate at the same time with the same energy, there is 2 bolts under the transaxel which are to fiil wth transaxel oil front and back need to see if you have enough oil in these 2 plases front its easy as you take the bolt off if you have driping oil its ok other than that add oil, rear itsdifferent you must take the bolt off and insert your finguer trou and see if you can touch the oil if not you must buy a pump to pump oil into it when driping out means its full best to buy repair manual to figur out better good luk

depending which motor you have and where you see the antifreeze driping from will tell you if the altenator needs to be removed for access these cars were also notorius for intake manifold gasket leaks usualy at the front of the engene where the manifold meets the head can also apear at the trans end of the motor if there is no antifreese in the oil this where you could start looking

find out exactly where its coming from,then you can fix it

rear main seal is goin bad on car.

You need a distributor seal. It's about $13. (not to be confused with the cam seal which is on the other side). It's a rubber "O" ring.

Instead of unplugging the plug wires from your distributor cap during removal of the distributor, unplug them from the spark plugs instead so you don't take the chance of scrambling your firing order.

u have a leak and its driping on your engine.fix it

when you remove the old oil filter. insure the old filter seal came off with the filter. then when installing the new filter wet the new seal of the filter with a little oil. just dip your finger into new oil and smear it on the seal.

check and see if your oil filter is tight, if being loose wasnt the prob. remove it and see if whoever replaced it before accidently left the old gasket in between the new one and block. as far as the antifreeze goes sounds like a gead gasket
