Kick down cable not rusted stuck fully out and TH thinks you are passing other cars WOT?
no engine told, of 4 offered day1 new. even a diesel.
1989 oem stock THM-400? NO./

4.3L guessed
full trans code is 1989 !
THM700-R4/4L60/MD8 (4 speed is stock)
TH400 is 3speed not 4. ,now called 3L80 and ended in 1979 ,

but is really 1989 1971-1994 3L80HD (heavy duty version of TH400)<< yes

i just looked in the service manual
it shows this box THM 700R4 transmission. or TH400/3L80HD
and shows
Throttle Valve (TV) or Detent Cable one must not lose vacuum to the modulator of the transmission see 100% engine overload, and wants to use lower gears, so the vacuum must be there
and MOD is color coded, and must not be ignored, it must match the weight of the car or it will not shift correctly. Do not use the wrong MOD ever.

this is not a 4L80E/3L80E box no electric shifts. yes TCC lockup. sure.
TCC relay is ECM controlled. clutch main TC lockup. acts like gear 3.5.

A tuneup does not effect THM turbo hydra matic. box.
unless huge engine power loss subsequent vacuum now wrong.
the box shift, itself.
only mod and TV cable and full engine power, changes it and for sure
the GOVERNOR.

Check both O2 sensor(s) and catalytic coverter.. P0420 means catalyst below threshold. Also check the sensor at the transmission and solenoid.

Make sure you have the proper amount of tranny fluild in it and get that Valvoline fluid out of it. Allison transmissons have there own type of tranny fluid and you want to use it. You can buy the right stuff from a Allison dealer. Most Detroit Diesel dealers are also Allison dealers. Look them up in your phone book and they will tell you the quanity and sell you five gallon pails of the fluid. Just get the serial number off of the side of the transmisson before you call. Change the fliters again too. Believe me, this is important. My company has Yard horses with Allison transmissions and you don't want to screw with the small stuff. Service them right and they work as hard as you want.

2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. It moves when in reverse and low gear. But when it's in drive it just revs up but doesn't move. However, I'm not getting any transmission codes.

Thanks for the information about checking transmission fluid. Unfortunately we don't get Notifications when they are made up there.

I was hoping that @Jeff Armer would take the question. He is a full time auto electronics tech and just the person you need. I am guessing he didn't get a notification either.

The image is difficult to read even zooming in on my computer, but you have multiple communications and voltage errors and guessing the problem one is to the Body Control Module, but you have multiple errors. That means when the computers tell the transmission solenoids to move it doesn't happen. An auto electrician with a professional grade bi-directional scan tool computer can command transmission solenoids to operate and verify that they did. That would be the starting point. This is not something you can fix yourself and Jeff seldom says 'take it to a transmission shop', note that this is not a normal garage, but a place that only does transmissions.

Why does my 2001 Mazda MPV slams into reverse?

I means the transmission pumps pressure regulater is failing
that VAC line tells the box engine load. and if bad can cause
transmission to shift wrong. upshifts early or late.
but none the less it is bad fix what you see is bad.
does this box have TV cable, from TB TV valve top transmisssion
if yes it too must never be jammed, it is, transmission damage deeper happens./
they both control pump output main control pressure.
VAC modulatori and the TV cable. (throttle valve = TV) from TB throttle body
it is pump pressure issue on the main line(inside)

yes 800 rpm is slower than 1500 cold RPM an the pump runs slower so yes, pump output is less.
the transmission manual has page covering pUMP output port tests.
in all gears to see it fail. all transmission shops this is one of the first tests. besides, cable TV bad or VAC mod bad.

Honda when you load a gear the engine stops

great evidence, (no year , or car or engine or trans told) Just HONDA.
but evidence (symptoms good) engine stalls, a classic case.
shifting from park to drive, engine stalls.
there are 2 causes only (macro viewed)
1; trans TCC clutch locker stuck. TC bad. or TCC solenoid bad. or its controls.
2: engine bad. (and all things that make it go per below)

lets do micro views engine bad, as in gross power (horse power HP lost)
  1. so does it fail hot and cold. engine, 180f + is normal?
  2. spark is bad, engine shakes hard.? ?
  3. fuel is too much or too little, or no air to suck in past rotten filter.
  4. if cause is bad spark do a spark tune up. Plugs & COPS
  5. Tuneup2 next is all filters clean or new.
  6. Is Hot (means normal temp) RPM 800 RPM in park ? or 400?
  7. EGR valve stuck open clean it and be sure it is closed.
  8. Cat melted blocks exhaust 100% or 90% and no power. now.
  9. bad fuel pump or fuel pump regulator (filter is new)
  10. bad sensors EFI has bad MAP or MAF,.
  11. bad fuel or wrong fuel put in, diesel over gas?
  12. injectors 1/2 clogged or more or leaking, or both. is possible.
  13. no engine told but if cam belt , the belt slipped and power lost huge. again skipping 100k mile tune up's is it. new belt now.
  14. this is more, (the engine) compression way below 150PSI on one or more cylinders if all are low see #13 is the cure.
good luck next time tell what car it is.? year and model at least.

Check engine light came on

What do you mean "can't find code"? If the check engine light is on, there is a fault code stored in your onboard computer - that's the way it works. If you are using a generic OBD code reader, that is most likely the reason you cannot find any codes. You need to use a scanner that has the correct software to access your ENTIRE computer network, not just the "continuous memory" or "generic" side of your computer system.

The window problem is a seperate problem and must be diagnosed accordingly.
