P0102 mod 10

The MAF sensor is mounted between the air filter and the throttle body. The MAF generates a signal that the PCM uses as a primary input for determining fuel control, and code P0102 is set when the PCM determines that this signal is below specification for a certain amount of time.

Code p0102, according to:

P0102 Cadillac Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Low Input

is "Mass or Volume air Flow Circuit Low Input"
Means that the computer isn't getting enough signal from your MAF sensor.

Check the link above for more information. MAF replacement isn't difficult.

Replace the CKP (Crankshaft Position) Sensor. Your car cannot tell that you are trying to start it, because it does not see RPM's from CKP sensor. Common problem.

P0102 is a Mass air flow code. If you recently installed a K&N air filter it is possible some oil from the filter has gotten onto the sensor and damaged it. This code does not mean the sensor is faulty though. You could have an intake air leak which would also cause the code.

You need to clear the codes,just repairing won't make the code go away,here's a link to see how to remove code.

Its a MAF code mass air flow sensor P0102 . The sensor isn't cheap but is vary important and dose have a good recore value so bring the old one back with you ita worth about 60 dollars . Its located between the air box where the air filter is and where the duct goes to the air horn ware the the main air intake is . Its held in the duct by clamps one on each side of the MAF and simple to replace , I t just costs about 100 dollars and thats with the recore
