Hi guys, please assist me on this my 2008 Tena Citi Golf has got a problem. The rev counter is moving up and down and is not idling smoothly. I have changed the oxygen sensor, map sensor, thermostat.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved from Land Phones Category.

The things you changed have no bearing on the symptoms and clues.

Clean Throttle Body and MAF (mass air flow sensor), as opposed to Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor.

I have 1998 Citi Golf 1.4.It is overheating, water is boiling from the container.

Chances are you have a water pump problem remove the thermostat and put your finger in the hole to feel if the impelor to the water pump is broken also replace the thermostat at the same time.
