In my 2005 Tucson, my 5-cd player stopped working. I push the button to load the cd's, but nothing occurs. The dealership mentioned something about 'resetting' the radio... what is this, and is it something I can do?

The only solution I've seen is to disconnect the negative battery cable for 10min. After you reconnect, the stereo should reset itself and enable you to load cd's. If this fails, either a trip to the dealer for service or to an car audio dealer for an aftermarket stereo. I hope this solves your issue and wish you all the best!

2005/6 Hyundai Tucson. Why is the slave cylinder arm lever fully extended?

It sounds like something not put back correctly or adjusted. Was the slave cylinder arm push in when you bled the system? There may be air behind it. Did you use a pressure bleed system, slave up to Master. Lots of help in the links.

My 5 disc CD changer will not eject an hung CD , on an Infiniti 2005 G35,..any solutons???

Some CD players actually have a locking mechanism inside of them. This mechanism can be released by using an unwound paperclip and sticking it into the CD player. There should be a button or platform to push that could release the disk. If that doesn't work, you might want to try using a pair of tweezers to pull the disc. To do this put the tweezers inside the CD tray and try to pull the disc out while pressing down and holding the eject button on the CD player. To me, it sounds like the motor that sucks in and ejects the disc is slowly dying and is having trouble pushing the disc out. If all else fails you might want to take the car to a dealership to see if they can replace your CD player

I have a 2005 chevy colorado and about 2 years ago the CD player stopped working (never got around to looking at it), it takes the CD but does not play and will not eject it unless i use something very...

The lights are not repairable. The cd problem can only be repaired by taking it to the dealership and what they do is an advanced exchange. This means they need to get the part number from your radio and order one for you and when it comes in they swap your for the new one and they program it.The new radio has to be programmed or it will not work. The radios come from out East from a factory certified repair dealer. The dealership that I worked at used United Radio. There are some others. But that is how it usually works.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Turn the radio off first and then disconnect the battery for 2 min then reconnect the battery. This should reset your radio and then you can eject your CD, and reset your stations and clock. Good luck
