If you mean no air is blowing,i'd say your blower motors cooked or heater panel blower switch/or blower resistor may have melted

SOURCE: why cant i do a burn out in my 94 caprice

Burning out a regular car is a whole other matter, and cannot be done well in any old car (especially four cylinders) as they typically do not have the power/weight and torque dynamics, and obviously have the wrong kind of tires. Doing a burnout on street tires makes a lot of smoke, removes layers of expensive rubber, and accomplishes nothing of dynamic significance besides enjoyment. It can be done though.

SOURCE: burnt plastic smell that burns your nose

sounds like it could be electrical then... have you done any changes to the electrical at all? rewiring, changing headlights, etc? I had a similar smell when I changed my headlights... new headlights were defective and were melting the housing and harness...

My 2007 chevy impala back windshield wont defrost at all...the front windshield defroster works perfectly..please help.

There is a female-male connector that connects the wire harness from engine to the cab located in passenger side kick panel. Find it and disconnect them. Look at each side to see if the connector is burnt. If it is it will need to be replaced or you can cut the rear defrost wire away from the connector and connect them direct. To much amperage causes these to burn out. If joining them direct do it cleanly and at your own risk. You can check the current at the rear defrost to see if this is the issue. front defrost is supplied by heated air. Rear is an electric coil on the window.

Smell smoke only when defrost is on

This could be a serious problem if the smoke smells like plastic or has a metallic hint ( I.E. You have a metallic taste in your mouth after smelling the smoke).
Remember the old adage " Where there's smoke, there's fire".
If you don't know how to disassemble the dash to find the problem, take it to a shop A.S.A.P. - You could burn up your vehicle by using either the heater or defroster, as they are parts of the same system.
Now for the rear defrost light;
If the light is out but the defroster works, you possibly have a burnt bulb. You'll need to remove the panel the switch is mounted in to gain access to the switch. You'll probably have to replace the switch to repair that bulb.If neither work, then you likely have several electrical issues that need to be repaired.
Sorry to bring bad - ish news!!

do you get heat out of any other positions,and is it cold ,warm or hot with engine fully warmed up? smell your getting is most likely anti freeze burning off of hot engine parts,either from leftover splash from the rad job or something let loose ,such as hose connection or other part leaking which is being drawn into the cabin thru the fresh air inlet near the wiper arms upper screen area (where car hvac gets fresh air)
