02 trailblazer will not turn over and power windows door locks sunroof will not work

Check your wires and fuses, I am having a similar problem myself as the windows open, but not the sunroof and this is a feature that VW had on most of these models with power locks, even my 96 Gti did it. I will repost with what fixed it ASAP.

.Just to be sure, do you know that when you insert your key into either the driver or passenger (front) doors, and turn the key over to the far LEFT (in the process of unlocking the door), and hold the key in that position for more than a second or so, your windows will all roll down?? This is supposed to happen - it is a benefit of owning a VW! It is all described in the owner's manual.

Now the other side of this function, is that if when you get out of the car, and any of the windows are left open (including the sunroof if you have one), inserting your key and turning it over to the far RIGHT (in the process of locking the car), and once holding it there for more for a second or so, will then close all the windows for you. This opening and closing process will only continue for as long you hold the key turned over in the extreme position in either direction. Once you return the key to the center position, the opening and closing will stop. So you just hold it there until the windows are all closed. This option is not available via your keyless remote though - only via the key in the door locks.

It's something I love about the VW design - you can choose to let fresh air into the car before getting in without having to insert your key into the ignition and on the other side, if a window (or the sunroof) is accidentally left open when you've exited the car, you now have the option to close them all without once again inserting your key into ignition and turning it over.

Sounds like a fuse. Are you getting power to the driver door module (control cluster as you say). Below are 3 pictures for you. The first one is the location where the fuse box is located for that fuse (under drivers seat in the rear). The second picture is a diagram or the latout of the fuses. The fuse you want to check is the fuse marked "LT DOORS" or the one marked 02. It should be a 25 amp fuse. The 3rd picture is a wiring diagram for the circuit. If the fuse isn't blown check the power wire from the fuse box to the driver door control module. Sounds like a power issue. Power is supplied to the Power windows and sunroof through the power window circuit breaker. That circuit breaker is supplied power through the RAP (retained accessory power) Relay, the RAP relay also supplies power to the radio. The RAP relay is also fuse protected by the RAP fuse in the under hood fuse block. The RAP relay is energized by the BCM body control module.

The RAP relay is responsible for the radio and windows working after the igntion is turned off.

The first place to check would be the RAP fuse in the under hood fuse block and then the RAP relay in the Body fuse block.

Whether it's a 52 or an 02, GM's have a problem - the wiring harness to the doors. Check the wiring in that funky vacuum cleaner hose-looking tube in the door jam, see if there's anything bare, broken, or otherwise screwed up. Best place to check for faults in this situation! Good luck!

check and see if the window lock is on or not, driver side window and sunroof will still function when window lock is activated however, the other windows will not work, even by the drivers control, it should be the button on the top right next to your power door lock switch,

cable probably became disconnected in door..
