1999 Dodge Ram 1500 not turning over

My truck is not turning over or even acting like it is trying to. My voltage gauge is reading at about 12-13V and I have already put a new battery in and tried a jump start too with no change. Side note; when I try to start my time on my radio dims but no interior or exterior light react in that way. Don't know if one thing may relate to another??? Please help!!!!

Put your vehicle in Neutral then back to park and see if it fires up...Sometimes this is all it takes.

The radio is dimming is key. The ignition switch needs to be replace because the ignition switch is the only part in the starting system that has a common circuit with the radio.

1999 dodge ram 1500 4X4 air bag light, check gauges light, oil pressure and gas guage all came on. Then they would all go out. Now truck will not start.

Well the air bag light would not have anything to do with the engine. The warning light for the gauges would come on if the gauges needed attention. And that would happen if the engine died.
When you turn the key on, does the gas gauge register ?
Do you have spark and fuel pressure when you crank the engine ?

The temperature gauge on my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 is not working. The temperature sensor and the thermostat have been replaced.

Check the gauge by holding in the trip odometer reset button and turn key to run, hold button for 10 seconds this will iniate a diagnostics on all the gauges, and lights if gauge doesn't move during this test replace gauge,if it does move then check the wires on the plug at the engine coolant temp sensor (ects) you can check the sensor by using a ohms meter by unpplugging it and check ohm's or resistance when cold and then start engine as the engine warms up the ohm's reading should gradually lower as the sensor is a thermister and as it warms up the resistance will drop.

2001 dodge ram 1500 5.9 4x4 motor turns over but will not start. ran fine the day before. the odometer reads no bus, check engine light comes on and gas gauge does not read now what could be causing...

First check is a look in the fuse box for a blown or loose fuse and also push all relays into their sockets. The check engine light shows that a trouble code is registered in the computer. Rent a scanner, read out any code(s), and pursue to repairs.

1999 Dodge Ram 1500 A/C acts like there's a short in the wiring

Have you checked for freon leaks. It sounds like it's low and the pressure switch drops out. Try adding freon.

Speedometer not working on 2002 dodge ram 1500

Removed cluster from dashboard and unplugged & turned the whole cluster clockwise very slowly and needle started moving from 150 mph back down to 0 mph when rotation was completely done. Kept cluster upright while re-installing and plugged back in the plugs on back and everything was fine. Called local Dodge dealer and told me would take 30-45 minutes to reset and would cost approximately $70 to fix. Took about 8-10 minutes of my time and saved myself $70. This may not work for everyone but this was my amazing quick fix thanks to GOD for giving me this thought to try this.
