Cuts out on me when driving and will die ata stop light

Check to see if you have a lot of dirt in the throttle body. Clean the throttle blades out with brake cleaner or throttle body cleaner. You'll see alot of dirt come out. Keep spraying until it comes out fairly clear and wipe the throttle body out with a rag. If this doesn't do it, you may have a problem with the throttle position sensor (TPS). This sensor controls the idle after the car warms up and keeps it from dying when you brake or sit at idle.

The ignition switch on that model is rated @ 50amps. When I was driving my 2001 Regal LS (at 120,000 miles) and used the turn signal, the engine would die, when I switched the turn signal off, the engine ran. So I replaced the ignition switch, and all is well.

Wrong! Non of the above. I just fixed that problem. The problem is loose resistors on the instrument cluster's printed circuit board. It is four bigger resistors parallel to each other. Re solder them and your odometer cluster is back to perfect.

It is your Instrument cluster, see my answers to this question and write me if you have any more questions, it cost me a total of no more than $15 dollars to fix it myself, took be about one hour.
