2007 Dodge caravan passenger sliding door will not close

It's possible. But does the lock seem like it is already in the lock posistion? It gets stuck as kids and people put there hands on it. A flat head could unlock it. There's also one other thing the locking mechanism may not be working anymore and not able to grab the bar to close it.

Dodge caravan sliding passenger door will not repond

There are contacts in the door jam, first check and clean these contacts. If they seem fine, and you have a way to check for power on these, test and make sure they supply voltage with a volt/ohm meter. If you are getting power through the contacts, that only leaves the lock actuator itself as being faulty.

Power locks stop working on sliding doors

If neither the lock or unlock works, first check the power lock fuse(s). If the fuses are good, then have the relay tested. You can call your dealer to find out where these components are located on your specific vehicle.

The passenger side sliding door won't unlock

I assume it has power locks, so I would look inside the door for a bad door lock solenoid or linkage rod is off. If it is not power, I would look for a linkage rod being disconnected or broken

2006 Dodge Grand Caravan .... Passenger sliding door lock will not unlock with remote or unlock botton in vehicle. It appears to be moving part way, but will not complete task.

Replace the wire harness/track assembly in the lower door opening. It plugs in behind the B pillar and runs down through the trough to the door. They have a history of failing with all the movement they encounter with the door opening and closing.

Power door locks do not work at all lights flash when remote is used to unlock doors. automatic lock feature does not work Once manually unlocked, sliding side doors work ok. tail gate can be used to opens...

the reason the locks dont work more then likely there is a code stored in the bcm for a lock output circuit normally caused by one if not both of the sliding door acuators. even if you change the acuators the locks still will not work until the code is cleared.
