From your description,I suspect worn tie rod ends.The tie rods connect the steering gear to the wheels.grasp the tire rod while you or an asistant shakes the wheel from 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock to pin point where it's loose. could be inner or outer ends or both.

Right front bearing. When turning left it puts more pressure on the right side. Have this checked

There is bulletin for a humming noise like yours that has to do with the Torque Converter. #01-07-30-010C 5/12/2008 Call GM and ask about it.

if it is front wheel drive it is probably your cv axle
