We have a 97 nissan pathfinder that will crank but doesn't have spark. changed the whole distributor that had a new built in magneto ignition coil still nothing. it threw code P0340 which is camshaft sensor we have been told there isn't one but only a crankshaft sensor. Please someone enlighten me as to what else i can go through
Did you try looking through the fuse panels or relays?
Faulty Knock Sensor------Problem is the Crank Shaft has repositioned itself or the Timing Belt has repositioned itself... To resolve: Nissan mech-a-neck had to replace my Timing Belt located inside Engine Wall and reset TDC. 1150.00 is what I paid dealer. I feel like a fool. Earl, Decatur,GA

Canshaft the sensor is inside the distributor. That does not allow maintenance. replace the distributor.
i fixed my pathfy today if you do it ur self
you have to mark the rotor of the ignition before you take out the old one
dont lost the time of the rotor or u r f**k
in my case my ignition crack the bearing inside of ignition
I get to buy a coil every 3 months 3 days ago I trailed off and did not want to turn on but today you change the ignition with the correct procedures and it caught me the first time I try
all about not taking out the time of ignition or you will leave with more expensive laser gun repair and parts replacements do not buy ebay parts are cheap comes to buying original parts nissan even a little more expensive
in puerto rico i pay $2
$220 for oem ognition on nissanworld
