Hello, I have a 2008 Chevy Malibu 1LT (4-cyl). The bushing that connects the wiper transmission to the wiper motor arm is broken. I have tried replacing it with generic bushing assortments, but nothing fits particularly well. The only one that was close has slipped off twice now. I cannot find any dealer or auto supply store in my area that can sell me the bushing by itself. Everyone wants to sell me the entire linkage transmission, which runs anywhere between 108 to 150 depending upon who I call. Can anyone suggest a way to purchase just the bushing by itself, instead of the entire transmission? Thanks, Shawn in Ypsilanti
Try Ebay for a used unit or possible bushing itself .
Is there a auto slavage yard near you ? $10.00 for a used one ?

SOURCE: My Maxx rear window wiper arm will not rotate when
one temporary repair i have done is to take arm off put 2 pieces of paper on top of pivot push arm back on hard this works for how long i am not sure but it has been 5 months since customer has complained ( afree repair ) good luck!!!! other wise a gm dealer is the other option
SOURCE: ever since i replaced the wiper motor on 2003
try this fix
remove wiper arms from where they connect on car
turn wiper moter on then off. turn ignition off
if wiper motor is good it should put spline in off position and now all you need to do is replace wiper arms in the correct position they would be in when wipers are turned off
