I have a 2004 toyota corolla.the radio works, but the cd player doesn't work. Does the radio and cd player work with the same fuse?

Most CD/radio systems are built as a single unit so they will run on a single shared fuse. Is yours the original factory fitted unit? CD/Radio systems can wear out over time.
Some CD/radio units do use internal fuses. These are usually difficult and often expensive to replace. Fitting a whole new unit is usually cheaper and easier.

Toyota echo 2002 cd player (without cassette, marked 31804) Radio works fine, but when a put on a cd, it reads it and starts playing... with no sound. Any ideas? Thanks a lot

well , as with all discs, old player will NOT play all CDs.
not even close.
first ask an old guy for CDDA disk or buy one from walfart.
then try that, only these disks work in all players.
other disks may or will not work.
like DVD-R, CD-R and any other recordable disks will fail.
that is the acid test, if the CDDA disk works (real audio disk)
works then the drive is ok, if not, its bad. simple as apple pie.

Where is the radio fuse located in a 2002 toyota echo? because my radio will power on, but no sound comes out.

If the radio powers on, the fuse is OK. You probably have a bad output section in the radio.

The cd player will not read a cd when inserted. the radio will not power on. is this a fuse problem?

Yes! It could be a fuse problem. There are two fuses you need to check. A 15 amp fuse in the engine fuse control box under the hood, and a 7.5 amp fuse in the instrument panel fuse control box under the dash. Make sure both of these fuses are good!

Where can I find the fuses for the radio? The CD player stopped

the cd player and radio should be on the same system or as a whole, it should all be not working, there may have been a short inside the cd player, check all the fuses in the fuse box look for 10amp and 15 amps usually. being a newer car it is odd. you may need to take it in to toyota for a diagnostic check. good thing about the electrics in cars these days is their computers tell you everything.
