1998 BMW 328i WARNING LIGHT IN THE DASH BOARD

A ROUND YELLOW CIRCLE LIGHT WITH LINES ON EACH SIDE MEANS BRAKE PROBLEMS FRONT BRAKES OR REAR BRAKES HAS A FAULT. NOW IF CIRCLE HAS LINES INSIDE YOUR POWER STEERING FLUID LOW NEED CHECKING.THE WARNING LIGHT WILL TURN OFF WHEN PROBLEM FIX.

nvm i think i found em; if its a circle with 3 little sections on each side, it means have the brake pads checked

this is a brake warning light, it may be warning you the pads are worn, to their minimum thickness or some other brake problem, GEt it CHECKED!

i am driving a bmw316i 1997model on my dashboord showing this (!)when i am driving could u tell me what does it mean

there is a break in the connection on one of the wires on the pads find it and your problem will be solved also check the brake fluid level it nay be low enough to set the light

needs to be put on computer to diagnose

Check your brake pads for wear. If worn replace. If not check the wires to the pads. If these wires are broken...the light will illuminate although the brake pads may be fine

It means that your brakes are worn. REMEBER: If you are going to replace them yourself remeber to also buy the brake sensor witch will be located on the on the right or the left hand side Im not sure . . . .It is just a wire connected to a sensor that clip's on the outer brake pad.
