Should be under the car, drivers side, just in front of rear wheel. Make sure and release the fuel pressure slowly when you take the lines loose.

I have a 1995 525i I have a new fuel pump but I am having issues with cold weather start. My car cranks strongly but it doesnt want to turn over. there are no codes. recently the car cut off while driving the car hesitated several times each time the check engine light flashed and then it shut off. after several tries the car started back up and I was able to continue driving. What could be causing this problem?

SOURCE: How do I remove inner door panel on 1995 BMW 525i

This shows the front door removal. Rear is similar.
http://www.bmwe34.net/E34main/Maintenance/Body/DoorRemoval.htm
Basically you remove anything held by screws like the arm rest and inner door handles and then go around the edge of the door panel and pop it off the door. There are little plastic clips that snap the panel to the door. Some of these might break, but they are cheap and you don't need ALL of them. Go slowly and use a tool like a plastic putty knife if needed.

SOURCE: where is the battery situated on a bmw 525i 1995?

The location of the battery in the BMW 525i series is under the back seat on the passengers side. To access the battery, grab under the front portion of the back seat and pull upward with some force. There are two slips into which the seat is secured. One on the passenger side and one on the drivers side, again in the front of the back seat. There is not one in the center.

SOURCE: 1995 BMW 525I over heating issue. I repaired head

Hi, Sounds like you have tried about everything. Ok the aux. coolant switch is for the electric pump for the heater core will not cause an over heating condition just a longer warm up of the heater core. Has the cooling system been bleed properly if there is a trapped air pocket it will not let coolant circulate. Was the new thermostat installed correctly? They have a vent that needs to be towards the top or they trap air on the back side and cant take an accurate reading to open and close. Other areas to look at would be proper operation of the fan clutch, if they fail they can cause the fan to not lock up properly and supply enough air movement through the radiator. The aux. electric fans and their temp switches do you hear them coming on are they coming on at the right temp.
