Why does my brake warning light stay on all the time.

My brake warning light stays on all the time. I replaced the brake fluid level sensor in the master cylinder. It didn't help I checked the harness and it has juice going to it all the time unless it is shut off.Any suggestions . Fluid level is where it is supposed to be. Brakes work as they should.

You will have to pull the tires off and check your rotors and make sure they are not worn, if worn they will need to be replaced and if they are not too worn they can be resurfaced by taking them to a parts store that has a resurfacing machine such as Auto Zone or Oriellys.

SOURCE: abs on dashboard stays lit all the time.

The only way to know axactly what happen is with a diagnostic computer.
Because the ABS use a Speed sensor on each of the wheels.
Hydraulic selenoids on the ABS box or Module..
If the light is on. its mean the Anti Lock Brake System is inactive., You gonna brake like any car with no ABS.
I hope this information work for you.

SOURCE: brake lights stay on all of the time, ABS light on when driving

You most likely need to replace your brake switch, which is a
a $8 part. If you look up along the brake peddle you will see it depressing a switch. on the end of that switch is a electrical connector that you can press on one side to remove.
Once removed your brake lights will be disconected and your ABS
light should go off. You then need to replace the switch that it pluged in to.

SOURCE: ABS light stays on

that has four wheel anti lock so your gonna need to either take all them off and clean ends it may correct the problem but more than likely your gonna have to take to a large shop that has abs computer to find which sensor is bad then correct the problem

The brake fliud resorvoir may have a sensor on it that is at fault. Also if the brake pads are getting very tin the light will stay on for the brake fluid is low if not filled. Fill the fluid up and see if the light goes off. The sensor if equipt will have two wires for a conection

Abs light stays on.

Typically on this model along with Q45's there is a built in sensor system. The factory pads come with a sensor, so when the pads are installed there is a wired plug that must be connected to the sensor mounted on the behind the rotor. This was designed to give you a visual warning that the brake pads needed replaced. However since most aftermarket pads for this vehicle do not come with sensors, the connector is left unplugged and the circuit is open causing the light to stay on. Another thing is to check the brake fluid level. Often times as the pads wear the fluid level goes down a little. Once it reaches a certian point it will cause the light to come on as well.

1994 Toyota 4x4 Brake Warning Light Going on and Off

You have one of two problems.

The most common issue it low brake fluid in the master cylinder. As the brakes wear down, the brake fluid level drops proportionally. On the side of the master cylinder is a sensor, that measures the fluid level. Open the hood and check the level. If is is anywhere close to the "MIN" line, you may have some brakes that need replaced.

The second issue, and it is more rare, is the park brake cable rusting, and hanging up.

Easy way to check either: When the light comes on, open the hood and unplug the wire going to the sensor on the side of the master cylinder. If the light goes out, your fluid level is the issue.

My 1994 honda accord break lights wont turn off when car has stop

brake in a car is verry important for your saffety and others. that why they install many devices or systems to control them and make shure they work propely 1; brake light switch on the pedal floor(to indicate to the folowing car that you are stoping) 2;brake sensor fluid level (on the brake master cylinder under the hood)
to monitor the level of the fluid in the reservoir 3; brake pressure sensor (on the brake dispencer under hood) will warn you in case of brake pressure faillure .note, it may be more sensors, depending on the make of the vehicle but this is the tree comon causes for brake ligth to stay "on"
