If any one know the problem for BMW 1990 525i, brake light and one side low beam did not have power feed to it, I have check the fuse no power to the fuse, and all brake light are gone doesn't work at all, it look like light controller box did not send out power to the fuse, please help , thank you in advance,,,,,
Power distribution box problem ,take ti out look underneath and no doubt the links corroded out ,well for the dipped light anyway the stop light is no doubt the switch faulty so replace the stop light switch .
Testimonial: "you mean the power distribution box is a fuse and relay box? where the fuses for low beam?, and the stop light is the brake light switch under brake pedal ? thanks for fast responded, "
replace bulbs newer models are double contacted, normally if a lot of vibration and knocking around occurs this could short out and have it blown, also you may want to chek for slack connection on the contacts for the bulbs, again a problem due to vibration

Check the wiring in the lights it may be poor construction or mis care that has madr a wire become looseand only rarely turn on
SOURCE: 1990 Volvo 240DL the low beam lights will not come on.
Your car has a main relay for the low beam that can stick and will soon go all together. It is in your fuse box. While the light is out (on but out) tap on the relay after you identify which one it is and see what happens. If it comes on change it. Good luck
SOURCE: turn head lights on every light works except low beams
thare is a high beam relay and a low beam relay in the fuse box find the low beam relay and replace it. if this dont work its probabley the switch
