How old is the battery & have you tested it?
How is it that a month went by & your using
any vehicle that could let you down?
Why have all issues not been resolved ,as soon
as they started?
Have you checked for codes?
Have you had a professional scan tool on it
& checked data, that has to be done along with
many other checks or tests, unless it's just a battery
issue.
No one can solve any vehicle issue over the internet
There is always more to the story & you need the patient

Turn key to start and all lights go on and all I hear is one chug. Turn key off wait 1+ minute and try again with 80% success and sometimes have to try more but still wait quite a while before trying will get 0 success. I did read somewhere to pump the gas a few times after failed start with key off and try again and I have done that 2 times now with 100% success on the restart. I don't have $1000 to replace the TIPM that others talk about so I guess I will keep doing this for as long as I can. It's been happening for over 1 year now and it's random as far as frequency. Sometimes a few times a month other times half a dozen or more times a month. Never not been able to get it to start but my heart always skips a beat and stomach drops especially when I have my twin toddlers with me alone. Never had to have it jumped either. 1995 Honda Odyssey automatic. randomly it will have a slight jerk, then check engine light comes on and d4 light blinks while driving on freeway. the speedometer works fine when these lights appear...

First thing to do is have the computer checked for trouble codes. The blinking D4 light means overdrive is not going to function, probably because of the rough running engine.

This is a devious problem which could lie anywhere. So many things not functioning would perhaps be a ground problem. Maybe take some extra care in cleaning the battery terminals, check if the ground wire is connected to the chassis. Do you have rodents in your area? Maybe they nibbled some wire somewhere?

I have had the same problem. This has happened to me three times in the past nine months or so. Per the owner's manual, you turn the key to the on position and wait about ten minutes. This resets the system and when the "Theft System" light goes out, it starts right up. I did this each time and it started right up.

You are experiencing GM passlock security system. Yours is starting to fail. When the system gets old it fails to communicate with all the parts of the system that need it. When the communication is broken, the car goes into anti theft mode and and turns off the starter and/or the injectors. After ten minutes it trys to connect the communication again, this is why it will work after a while. Go to this link, it has a ton of info and some ways to bypass this system so it will never happen again.

This has been an ongoing issue for the last 2-3 years now. First the car would all of a sudden not start. We'd wait 10-15 minutes then try again and it would start. It began happening more frequently. ...

Maybe resetting the theft system. To do this you need to get in the car, turn everything off, turn the key to on, wait about 10mim or so till the light stops flashing, them turn key to off and back to start engine.

The car won't start-- 3 to 7 time per week

you might have a worn out resistor pellet in your ignition key and the cars security system senses this and puts the car in a passive bypass mode...usually about 10 minutes before it"ll allow a restart...have the resistance check done on your key a locksmith. they can make you a new key. a good recognized key should reset the system...if this doesnt work then it"ll probably be the security computer system that is going bad.

Check all the connections to the BCM for corrosion, and spray some WD-40 on them and wiggle them. See if that changes anything. Look for loose connections or damage.

Turn your key to the on position wait until all of your indicater lamps do their thing . Then pump the gas pedal 3 times in rapid motion in less than 5 seconds. Wait until you see the change oil light start flashing. If this does not happen then turn the key off turn it on again and repeat the procedure.
