Where is the fuse or the relay for fuel injector 1 for a 2006 GMC envoy Denali

Fuel injectors are typically driven directly by power transistors in the engine computer. Relays are just not fast enough to provide the fine timing control needed. There might be an individual fuse for each injector soldered to the computer board, but I haven't ever looked at one for your model, and I've never seen injectors individually fused. Before chasing that, verify that the electrical resistance of the injector coil is the same as the other injectors. The typical resistance is between 100 and 1000 Ohms. If the coil resistance differs by more than 10%, replace the injector coil (it may be easier to remove the coil from a new injector and switch it with the old one than to pull the entire injector out and replace it, if not, change the injector). Shorts in the coil that lower the resistance are sometimes a problem.

Also check the injector cable for continuity. An easy way is with an ohmmeter that can read at least 20 Megohms. First, check the resistance between the terminals on a good cable. You should read a very high resistance - this is the leakage through the transistor and any protective components, and is some number between 5 and 20 megohms. The exact number doesn't matter, as long as you see something and it is not a short circuit (less than 1 Ohm). This verifies that the test will work (if it reads over-range, either your probe tips can't reach the contacts in the connector, or the test is otherwise not valid). Next, repeat on injector 1. If it reads open circuit (over-range), check the injector cable (note: an open fuse will give the same result as a broken wire).

Hi, my Kia K2500 won't start.

Change the fuel filter as there shouldn't be a 'lot' of resistance. Check fuel pressure with a gauge.

2004 chevy blazer code 304 missfire number 4 cyl

If plug an plug wire has been replaced , an dist. cap an rotor an problem is still there ,maybe a fuel injector problem .
Perform the fuel injector coil test. Refer to Fuel Injector Solenoid Coil Test .
A fuel injector coil winding resistance that is too high or too low will affect engine drivability. A fuel injector control circuit DTC may not set, but a misfire may be apparent. The fuel injector coil windings are affected by temperature. The resistance of the fuel injector coil windings will increase as the temperature of the fuel injector increases.
Diagnostic Aids
?€¢
Monitoring the misfire current counters, or misfire graph, may help to isolate the fuel injector that is causing the condition.

?€¢
Operating the vehicle over a wide temperature range may help isolate the fuel injector that is causing the condition.

?€¢
Perform the fuel injector coil test within the conditions of the customer's concern. A fuel injector condition may only be apparent at a certain temperature, or under certain conditions.

Where should I look to resolve a P0204 error code on a 2004 VW Beetle?

Fuel in the injector harness can result in a short causing this code. The only way for fuel to be there is a leaky injector. Dry off harness and monitor. Even though the injector is new, it may be defective. The next place to look is the wiring harness itself. You will have to find where the wiring for #4 injector goes into the vehicles computer and perform a resistance test from the injector harness to the computer to make sure there is no high resistance/opens. If all checks out fine, the computer may be bad. VW computer failure rates are extremely low. I would concentrate on a wiring issue.

How do I test my 1993 4.9 Cadillac fuel injectors

there are a few things that can be tested on the fuel injectors, 1st you need to unplug each injector and test the resistance on each injector, you do this with a DVOM the resistance across the the injector windings should be 8.0-25.0 ohms, if the injectors ohm out ok then remove the fuel rail with all the injectors attached and set all the injectors in a catch container ( baby food jars work real well for this ) and crank the engine and make sure each injector is spraying a good clean patten with no dipping. replace any injector that is out of range on ohms and any that do not have a good clean spray pattern.

My 92' corvette is hard to start. It cranks for about 5 seconds befor it starts. Replaced the coil, and the ignition control module. After it starts it has a slight smell of gas for a few seconds

I can almost promis you have bad fuel injectors. it is a known issue on your car, replace the injectors with a set of bosch series II injects from fuel injector connection get a flow matched set with viton seals ... hope this helps search google for fuel injector resistance test if you want to verify the problem you can also go over the injectors with a hair drier if it changed the way the engine runs its the injectors, the build more and more resistance as they warm up... until failure

Car keeps blowing the efi fuse 15 and fuel pump wont run

I surmise you have a shorted fuel injector or injector driver transistor. The engine computer probably knows something is wrong and is not turning on the fuel pump relay as a safety measure. You will need a digital multimeter or a VOM to track down the problem.

Remove the EFI fuse, turn the ignition to ON, but don't start the engine. Measure the voltage between ground and each terminal of the EFI fuseholder. You will make the following tests at the terminal that does NOT have 12 Volts on it (fuse output). Turn off the ignition and disconnect the battery.

Measure the resistance from the fuse output terminal. It will probably be much less than 1 Ohm. The next thing is to check the fuel injectors. Disconnect the injectors one at a time and check the resistance . If the resistance suddenly increases substantially more on one injector than it does when the others are unplugged, you've found the culprit. Now you need to check the injector driver transistor. One of the wires to the injector is 12 V from the fuse output and the other goes to the transistor. Check the resistance to ground. If it is 0 or close to it, the transistor is fried, and the EFI module (or engine computer if it is contained there) will need to be repaired or replaced. Also, compare the resistance of the suspect injector with the others. If it is substantially less, the injector coil is bad (a failure in one part can ruin the other, so check both).

No power to fuel injectors

Determin if the injector operating:
  1. disconnect the injector electrical connector and measure the resistance of each injector with an ohmmeter. Compare the measurement with the resistance value Specifications are 11 to 18 ohms.
  2. Replace any injector whose resistance value does not fall within the specifications.
If the injector was not operating but the resistance reading was within specifications, the PCM Powertrain Control Module (PCM) or the circuit to the injector may be faulty.

Check the ignition fuse located in the engine compartment fuse center. Also. check the fuel pump relay.
Note: The fuel pump relay is located behind the radio in the center of the instrument panel.

If the relays are good and the fuel pump does not operate. check the fuel pump circuit. If the wiring and the connectors are
good, replace the fuel pump.
