Radio does not work with the 1998 honda accord

I installed a new radio in my honda accord and everything worked fine until a few days ago when the radio just stopped working. I bought a new radio, thinking that the radio itself broke, and the new radio does not work either. I have checked the fuses and they look fine, however, I can not find the fuse that goes to the radio and wonder if that fuse broke. Does anyone have a fuse diagram or can anyone tell me where to look. When I bought the car the manual did not come with it and I can not find a fuse diagram anywhere.

I have found the a THIRD fuse box which had the radio fuse and that was blown, so everything is good now. I had no idea that there was a third fuse box.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ..... ONE OF THE SPEAKERS WAS MAKING SOME KIND OF SHORT CIRCUIT. ITS USUALLY THE BACK SPEAKERS BECAUSE THE WIRES ARE NOT WRAPPED!!

Cleaning the Radio may fix it but what it sounds like is there is a lever inside that got jammed and you have to take the player apart to get it to work again.. Cheaper to get a new one

There is a factory default with the radio circuit board in radios installed in 2003-2004 Honda Accords. Honda will replace or repair the radio free of charge on and extended warranty. The radio will eventually fail for good. I know, as the one in my 2004 Accord failed in March of this year. My Honda dealer replaced the radio with a reconditioned unit absolutely free. Contact you local Honda dealer.

My radio just went out!!!

Call the honda dealership and get the code to reset your radio from them. I had the same problem a few months ago. It's an easy fix.

Electrical problems with my 96 honda accord

This happens because the removal of the current to the computer or CPU gets de-programed. You may be able to solve the problem (if it comes up gain ) by disconnecting the negative cable with the engine off. Then renstalling it back after a minute.This will reprogram the computer.

Radio Works, but Screen is out, Fuse Ok

If everything else is still working and the Fuse is good it is Because the Internal Lighting on the Head Unit is Burnt out. The only way to Fix this is to get a New Head Unit.

Cut out factory radio...could i had shortened something or blown?

Actually, I still have the factory-installed radio in my 1999 Honda Accord, and it started cutting out randomly about three months ago. It's some kind of power issue, i.e., when I speed up, it's ok, but when I brake it cuts out. However, once it cuts out, if I hit the power window switch the radio will come back on.

New radio installed - now dash lights don't work

Most factory stereos are wired to the dash dimmer switch. Usually if the dash lights go out after an after market stereo installation, it is because the wire that originally went to the factory stereo is not used for after market stereos. Double check the fuses and ensure the wire that controlled the lights on the factory stereo is not grounding out on something.
