Driver side door stuck shut..willnot open

I have a 91 accord the drivers side door is literally stuck shut..its not the lock inside cause i can lock & unlock it.Getting tired of getting in & out through the passengers side

i have a 1991 honda accord and the Drivers side door is stuck closed I bought it second hand and i am not sure what to do, my husband took apart the door panel to see if he could drill it and now he could not figure that out and the window is stuck open to boot.

When we unlock the door, the lock slides down slowly

Not to my knowledge. The mechanism you talk about is the wiring inside the door if it has electric locks. The only way is to remove the top of the door panel to access the door latch mechanism then slide it away from the latch. If that don't work let me know

assuming you don't have power door locks then your problem is either a seizing tumbler or bent rod

either case you have to strip the interior door skin to diagnose

Driver Side Sliding Door Won't Open at All - 07 Quest

Either it has rusted up or the mechcanisim has been bent,take door panel off check it out if rusted use some wd40 work lock untill it moves.
