Do you know if they checked the related fuses first? Do the fuel and voltage indicators indicate normal, or stay at zero? Was the fuel pump/pressure checked? There are many things to check before changing any part.

Take it to a different shop. This one doesn't know how to diagnose, they only know how to throw parts at it and hope the new parts fix the problem.

First I would change the plugs, wires, distributor, and rotor button next I would make sure the firing order is correct then have timing checked if all check out have the cylinders tested.I hope this get your Jeep up and running. 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0. Got fuel, got spark but won't start!

Question edited for clarity. Cranking IS turning over. You are cranking but not firing, or starting, or running.

If you haven't much pressure at the rail, your likely problem is not enough fuel pressure and the fuel pump needs replacing. One post here says you need 39 PSI and another says 49 PSI. What do you have? You need to test with a pressure gauge.

1994 jeep grand cherokee laredo starting problems

Check to see if the fuel pump is running after it shuts down...could be a relay or the pump itself (overheating internally) Checked the fuel filter yet? Some crank sensors need to be shimmed. If it's too close to the flywheel even though you recently changed it, if it's too close to the wheel it can fail again. May not be the case but worth checking over. Also check the ceramic resistor on the left fender near the master cylinder if you have one. That too can cause problems.

Try gently tapping the starter motor with a hammer or bar. There may be a bad contact in the sollenoid or the starter motor brushes worn to their limit. Tapping may give you a tempory fix if the problem lies in the starter motor.

1993 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO IM TOTALLY BAFFLED

Back up a minute...Do you have spark from the coil wire? (juice from coil) If so, change or check rotor and cap (wires do not all go bad at same time so unless they are wet, likely at least good enough to start engine)

1993 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO- TRUCK WONT

OK...I have a 93 outside...one diagram I have shows an ignition module next to coil...but there is none on mine, (4.0 engine)
Two items to check are crank sensor and cam sensor inside distributor. Test procedure can be found in just about any manual including haynes.
You will need a decent volt/ohm meter to do testing. You can also check codes by turning ignition switch on/off three times, leaving it on the third time. Check engine will flash code #'s (ex: one flash, pause two flashes= the number twelve.then followed by a longer pause then another set of flashes etc.)

1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

I had a problem with my Jeep doing the same thing. It turned out to be the Crank shaft senor. It would just turn off even on the highway at 60mph.
If you can change it yourself you will save a lot of money.
