2001 Buick Century I have a problem with

2001 Buick Century I have a problem with the lights on my odometer. I cannot see my mileage or the lights on the gear shift control (Park, Rear, Drive, Neutral, etc.) Also the 3rd light in back is out(the one at the middle of the back seat. How much would it cost to repair these things.

Thanks.

About $100, mostly labor on the dash illumination issue.

If you take the odometer out of the dash and remove the black casing around it will expose the circuit board. there are four resisters that cause this problem. buick should've had a recall but didnt. if your good with soldering this should cost little to nothing.

Around $80 to $120 depending on how much they charge. Hope this helps!

I have a 2000 buick century and my light went out on my odometer and now i cant see my mileage

Sorry to say but you need a new instrument cluster. This is a very common problem with all GM lines since 2001.

The dash light that shows the odometer on our 2001 Century has gone out, what is involved in fixing it?

You have to replace the cluster or have it rebuilt. The odometer and trans indicator is lit by led's

The gear shift indicator light and the odometer comes on intermittantly on my 2001 buick century

you will need the instrument cluster replaced. there are several companies that rebuild them, take it to a qualified repair shop, I'm sure they have a place they deal with to repair these. you will need to send yours in, as they usually want the old one first, to program mileage.

I have a 2001 buick regal and on the instrument cluster, the P R N D L 2 and the odemeter are no longer able to be seen. Do I have to replace the whole thing?

Hi. The instrument cluster on this vehicle is not servicable. The prndl2 indicator is serviced with the whole unit. You can find a suitable replacement at your local salvage yard. Make sure mileage is close to the mileage you have or your state may require a odometer dis-closure statement. Hope this information helps!

Light showing odometer and what gear transmission

The cluster will have to be sent out for repairs or exchange by a dealer or see Model Electronics.
