I have a toyota previa 93 and is very dificlt to start. A friend told me to changfe the fuel filter, but in vain. I wold like to know if you can help me
I would change fuel filter any way only £6 delivered on ebay then i would start looking at glow plugs and relays first check to make sure glow plugs are getting a live feed bad side glow plugs are located under drivers seat side of engine so not easy to get at unless you remove seat carpet and engine covers
I need to know more about your car is it petrol or diesel the speedo is electric, normal fuel pump failure car wont start at all. i have at other times noticed fuel tanks dont vent properly and cause a vacuum so you get fuel starvation try taking fuel filler cap off. other questions does car idle ok and rev. is problem only starting vehicle and when engine is under load. also is car manual or auto
sorry thought it would be the same as *** import(estima and lucida) they have electric speedos.
when car does start is it on all four cylinders

Unfortunately I still have the problem with my starting. I would like to know what are the symptoms of fuel pomp failure. Probably is the fuel pump. Also my speedometre it does not work well. Sometimes I go at 45M/h (aprox) and the speedometre is marking around 15M/h if you can help me I would apreciate.\r\n

My Toyota Previa 93 is auto, petrol and the speedo is not electrical
Is the car diesel? If so will it start when warm, If yes probably engine heaters
