Simply pull the handle out of the trans fuild filler port in the engine ... produced from1999 to 2001 as the Chrysler Prowler when Plymouth was dropped in 2001.
you can hear it this will sound a little bit like a muffled rock in a beer can /you can feel it by grabbing the pulley and push in and pull out on it a couple of times if the bearing is n/g you'll feel more than a slight give /you can see it from underneath there's a weep hole on the bottom of the impeller shaft where the pulley attaches and it can also be seen by jacking the car up a little on the right front side and look through the wheel well you'll be in a good line of sight that way be careful you should use a good jack and have somebody there to help you if something goes wrong
Really, go to a major autoparts store like Autozone or Advance and get a CD on the subject or watch someone for the first time.
If anything goes wrong the vehicle will not stop. Much of the work requires inspection and if you are a beginner, you will not know good from bad or passable. There are a few tools you need, plus safe jacking.
The best way you can.
They are a PIA to get to anything these days. All this cabin forward design is no help.
If you're doing spark plugs on a V6 then you may try jacking it up and supporting it on stands and roll under on a creeper. Sometimes shops will just drop the whole engine in its cradle to get to it. (usually not for spark plugs though)
Hi, BMW's have a jacking point. If you are looking at the back wheel, look along the side skirts under the back passenger door. There will be a small disc with a horizontal hole. Use a screw driver to turn the disc until it comes out, that is your jacking point.
Place the jack's horizontal arm all the way into the jacking point and start to wind the jack handle. The car will then start to rise at the back. The same prinicple appplies for the front as well, the fronts jacking point is on the skirting under the front doors.
if you check along the bottom of the car there are usually marks or to show jacking points or a piece reinforced on the sill ledge.compare same at all four points around the car and if the same thats your jacking point
probably a wheel hub bearing. try jacking that wheel up off the ground and grasp the top and bottom of the wheel and see if it moves back and forth should not have any movement.
