SOURCE: Hissing sound from brake pedal of Renault Scenic 2001

Hi,
From your description this appears to be a Brake servo issue.
The brakes are assisted by a vacuum created from the draw off the inlet manifold, it gives assistance too the brake pedal pressure by a large tank/cylinder mounted on the Bulkhead/firewall.
I feel that the sound you a hearing is air being draw into the Brake Servo from the foot pedal seal and the reason for fluctuation in the engine is the vacuum from the inlet manifold is being upset.
Attention I suspect should be addressed to the Brake servo/pedal seal or gaitor.
I hope this clarifies your thoughts?
Please remember to rate my effort.

When you press on the brake? Have your brake vacuum assist checked. It,s that bigspaceship looking thing between the brake master cylinder an firewall. good luck and be safe.

This perfectly describes a failure of the brake vacuum booster.
Replace the power brake vacuum booster.

SOURCE: 2001 Chrysler Concorde pressed the brake

That sound you hear is coming from the Vauum Brake Booster...Sooner or later the Brake Pedal will get hard, because the seal inside of the Brake Booster is leaking..And the only way to repair it, is , to replace the Brake Booster...But also check your Vacuum Hose that is instaaled on your Brake Booster..It goes from the Brake Booster, which is behind the Master Cylinder...From there to the Intake Manifold...Just make sure that there are no cracks in that hose, and make sure it is on all the way...because if the hose is bad, then thats all you will have to replace....Goodluck...

SOURCE: clicking sound when i press the gas pedal

The clicking and popping sound like a problem with the CV joints. The best repair for this is to replace the CV half-shafts. The brake noise may or may not be related to this issue. If the noise is coming from the front, it could be that you need new brake pads, or that the rotors need to be resurfaced, or the brakes may need some other adjustment. If the noise is coming from the rear, you may need new brake shoes, or the drums need to be resurfaced, or there could be another issue. Have the brakes checked out when the CV axles are replaced.

If you need more help with these issues or if you have any more questions just let me know.

Just bught a 2008 lincoln MKX (huge mistake). The rear of the vehicle squeals while in motion. Quits when the brakes ar applied. HELP!! Three dealerships, no solution because it never squeals while I'm at...

Sounds a little like there are shims missing, some aftermarket shoes do not come with the shims that keep the shoes from vibrating. So they're noisy until brakes are applied and the vibration is dampened. I would assume dealer techs would notice something that simple but you never know.

I have 2000 mustang gt and my brakes will not release presure it is like I am pressing the brake when I am not

Try bleeding the brake system .. It sounds like one or more of your calipers are locked up... Open all the bleeders an see if the fluid starts to drip constantly by itself.. Do Not Press The Break Pedal while all the bleeders are open.. If you do, you will have a lot of air get inside the brake system, an then you will have to bleed the entire system.... Also if you changed your brake pads, or shoes recently, make sure they are the correct ones.. Sometimes they look the same, but they maybe a little to thick... An if you do have rear shoes, make sure they are adjusted correctly.. If they are too tight, you will have a hard pedal... And last but least, make sure your Brake Booster is good.. If you press the brake pedal, an you hear a little air hiss from it, an then the pedal gets hard, then it's probably your brake booster.. I hope this info help... Good Luck

MKX ''Clunking'' during slow acceleration

Could be a bad CV joint. Check to see if any of the CV boots are torn. When they are torn the CV joint slings all the grease out and causes the CV joint to get dry then they start to make noise.

Can you flat tow a 2007 Lincoln MKX?

The 2007 Lincoln MKX is definitely towable "4 down". According to the owners manual: The ignition switch needs to be in the accessory position (position 2 of the 4 possible positions) so that the steering wheel is able to turn to let the front wheels track the towing vehicle. The transmission needs to be in "N" so that the engine's disconnected. The parking brake needs to be off, and the engine should be run for 5 minutes before starting out and "at fuel stops". This makes the vehicle a good vehicle to tow along with you behind your motorhome. The folks at Blue Ox make an excellent tow "baseplate" that is practically invisible yet hooks up easily to the motorhome. The BX2192 package is made specifically for the '07 to '10 MKX. It works beautifully with my '07!
