SOURCE: Changing the oil filter

on the 2.0L it is all the way in the back of the engine just over the axle

the problem is probably an idle air control valve. its a cheap fix. the body is ford the motor is mazda.

SOURCE: check engine light is blinking

check the spark plug wires for dry rotting and check the order there in starting from the back of the motor left to right the order go's 1..2..3 and then the front left to right the order go's 4..5..6 also make sure that all the wires are plugged in the right order on the distributor also it could be your TCS or "TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM"

bank 1 is the bank of cylinders closest to the firewall. the sensor will be located along the exhuast from that side after the catylitic converter

Hello Jason, I would say it does not have enough oil pressure or maybe the oil sender unit is bad. Did you check the oil level?

Oil pressure light at idle

when the light comes on at idle do you notice any engine noise different from the norm.if not then the oil pressure sensor(ops) is bad/weak and will need to be changed.if you hear abnormal noise with the light on then you will have to have teh oil pressure checked to see if its within specs.
