Location of ipc/dic fuse box on chevy silverado

Diagram shows 4 fused power feeds to the IPC; IPC/DIC and SEOB1 hot at all times... IGN E, SEO IGN hot when start and run. I find no relays on the IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster).

I suspect there are semantics causing confusion regarding fuse and relay blocks.

There are three fuse/relay locations. Underhood (engine compartment), Instrument Panel (left dash) and Center Instrument Panel (behind left kick panel).

Do not confuse Instrument Panel Cluster (dash gauges and DIC) with Center Instrument Panel fuse block.

Driver info. center . IPC/ DIC fuse 10 amp - under hood fuse box .

If this is for the illumination bulbs in the cluster, that would be the park light fuse in the fuse panel. This should be in a panel under the driver's side dash. At least, that is the set-up for earlier model GM vehicles.

The IPC/DIC fuse 10amp located in the under hood fuse box . Also check SEO B1 fuse 15amp in same fuse box . Plus IGN E fuse 10amp. an SEO IGN. fuse 10amp All in same fuse box ! If you find the fuse are all good the stepper motors inside the instrument cluster that control the gauges are bad an need to be replaced ! make sure you have power and ground at the ipc connector, if you do, cluster needs to be replaced. If you don't have power and ground, start looking for open wires.

have you tried to get any codes? could be a controller issue or a button issue sticking? have the codes for the ipc pulled

The IPC displays the season odometer information from the BCM in the driver information center (DIC). The odometer will display an error if the IPC detects invalid odometer data from the BCM.

In my case, simply removing and reseating the IPC/DIC fuse restored the gauges to full functionality.
