Buy a can of electrical switch cleaner and spray both the male and female connectors on all those items involved.
If that doesn't fix it, you need an auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer who can scan for communication issues and record the Live Data as it happens and what made the electronic throttle indicator light come on.

Electronic Throttle Control Indicator
This is the Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Indicatorsymbol. This light, a lightning bolt between reversed brackets or parenthesis, will illuminate if there is a problem in the electronic throttle control system. As an electronic system, it can sometimes be reset with a restart.
This has to do with the electronic throttle control system . Position sensors in the gas pedal or the throttle body. Light lit , has code's set . Electronic Throttle Control (ETC), or Throttle Actuator Control (TAC), is replacing the throttle linkage on more and more late model vehicles. The mechanical linkage or cable between the accelerator pedal and throttle body has been replaced with a gas pedal position sensor and an electronically-operated throttle. Electronic Throttle Control
It's easy ! Disconnect the electrical connector , un bolt it .
Removal Procedure
Notice: Handle the electronic throttle control components carefully. Use cleanliness in order to prevent damage. Do not drop the electronic throttle control components. Do not roughly handle the electronic throttle control components. Do not immerse the electronic throttle control components in cleaning solvents of any type.
Remove the connector position assurance (CPA) retainer. Disconnect the accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor electrical connector. Reposition the carpet to access the lower nut.
Remove the accelerator pedal nuts. Remove the accelerator pedal assembly.

c121cThis has to be checked by someone with a computer capable of communicating with all the systems/computers in the vehicle to determine what is wrong here. you have a problem with you electronic throttle control .
P0123 throttle position sensor . You need a new throttle body or have a wiring harness problem !
seems something wrong with the Electronic throttle control (ETC) which is an automobile technology that electronically "connects" the accelerator pedal to the throttle, replacing a mechanical linkage
There is no mechanical linkage between the accelerator pedal and the throttle valve with electronic throttle control. Instead, the position of the throttle valve (i.e., the amount of air in the engine) is fully controlled by the ETC software via the electric motor.
- you better have the ETC immediately serviced by an approved Toyota-shop Electronic throttle controlElectronic Throttle Control
Electronic throttle control (ETC) is an automobile technology which severs the mechanical link between the accelerator pedal and the throttle. A Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is used to control traction control, fuel injections, etc.
check your Electronic throttle control unit and its electrical supply. the Electronic throttle control is located on the LH of the throttle body. Check all fuses and relays for shorts, there may be no power to the Electronic throttle control, which results in NO throttle movement. Hopefully this helps
