2004 dodge caravan 2.4 Hesitates during Acceleration and at idele

While driveing, the van seems to hesitate during acceleration and at times feels like a misfire the misfiring is random and feel the hesitation at signal lights and after the van has been running for a period of time.
I have replaced the fuel pump thinking it was a fuel delivery issue, not that. Should i change the fuel filter next?

You should definitely replace the fuel filter though this probably won't fix your hesitation. It wouldn't hurt to replace the spark plugs this is usually the culprit on these engine. I have the same engine in a '99 caravan and found the for some reason the spark plugs on cylinder 3 and 4 loosen up after one year and cause a misfire between 45 and 50 mph under load (when mildly accelerating).

Chevy 2500 4x4 truck,, wont excelarate right, acts like its running out of gas, good fuel pressure, new mass air flow senser, still does it... any ideals???????

When maintaining speed of about 50mph,2004 pacifica hesitates and will cut off while in park sometimes.check engine light is not on

Hesitates during acceleration, misses during cruise at low speeds.

Could the car be missing a few cylinders? Are spark plugs all ok.Otherwise the air mass monitor might be to blame.

have you checked the fuel injector? if enough fuel is not getting through when accelerating it could "choke" causing the hesitation
