If nothing (radio, lights, etc) is turning on when you try and start the car, then your battery is completely dead. Even if other electronic components are turning on, the battery still may be so weak that a jump start just won't do; it will have to be replaced.

Other possibilities include faulty components in the ignition system (ignition coil, distributor, etc). If something is wrong with this system, the car might not be able to transfer enough power to the spark plug to start the engine.

Bottom line: your car needs to be looked at by a professional. If you have AAA (and if you don't have it, get it), they will come and do a free battery test and can do an on-site replacement of the battery (if appropriate). Otherwise, they (or another company) can provide towing services to take your car to your preferred mechanic.

Sounds like your alternator is letting go, because your battery is not charging, and this would mean that you could probably just make it home before the juice runs out. Get your alternator checked out, if your car has 50k, this should be under warranty, otherwise could cost hundreds to replace/repair.

SOURCE: on dash board has a horse shape signal with an ! in the u shape

that would be your low tire light, check the tire pressures and set them to whatever it says in the drivers door jamb, it will tell you the factory psi settings there. if you had the tires rotated recently that might cause the light to come on untill the tire positions are learned by the cards module. if all else fails a dealer is pretty much the only place that can diagnose tire pressure monitor problems

SOURCE: I have a 2006 Toyota Corolla and it won't start just clicks.

you definitely need a new battery. replace it, and have the charging system checked when you do. If you do it yourself, use a volt meter to make sure that your battery is holding at least 14 volts when the car is running. anything less, and your alternator is bad. I dont think your alternator would be bad, though. your whole engine and transmission is electronically controlled and runs off of the power generated by the alternator. the battery is primarily there to start the car. without the power generated form the alternator, all of these things start drawing power from the battery. and since the battery cant recharge itself, it will eventually die, and so will your car. so, my guess is your battery just went bad, and your charging system is good. have it checked just to be on the safe side though.

Are there special procedures for jump start in a 2007 Toyota Solara?

If the battery was flattened, the horn is sounding because the immobilizer and alarm needs resetting.

The safest order to attach the jumper cables is as follows:
  1. Attach one red jumper cable clamp to the positive terminal on the dead battery.
  2. Attach the other end of the same cable, the second red jumper cable clamp, to the positive terminal on the working (live) car battery.
  3. Attach one black jumper cable clamp to the negative terminal of the working (live) car's battery.
  4. Attach the other end of that cable, the second black jumper cable clamp, to an unpainted piece of stationary metal on the car with the dead battery. Do not attach this clamp to the negative terminal on the dead car's battery.

Try cleaning throttle body and MAF, but you probably need a good local auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer.

My 2004 toyota solara battery was drained due to me leaving on my hazzard lighs over night....after getting a jump start from another vehicle power came back on but the car still will not start.......

If the battery is 4 years or older it probably wont return to optimal charge. I had to put my battery on a trickle charger (slow batt charger) for 6 hours before it was restored enough to use again.

My Toyota Solara would'nt turn over. It started right up after jumped. The the temp gauage was just below red and didn't go down. How can I tell if it's the battery or something else?

9 times out of 10 its gonna be the battery. It simply dosent have the amperage needed to turn the car over. When you hook it up to another battery it carrys the load from the two combined. I would replace it or borrow a battery from another car and see if that works. If so you got it fixed.

My 2006 toyota solara will not start

May be a battery problem, i've seen bad batteries with green eye. the first thing to do is have the battery and the charging system checked, this sounds like it could be a battery problem or bad connections at the battery, if for some reason everything is good then have the starter checked. hope this helps.
