I have a Kia Sportage and the steering wheel was not properly returned by the mechanic. I could not see my dashboard gauge while driving since one of the 3 spokes is on the way. How can I remove my steering wheel and adjust it to the proper position so I can see the gauge while driving? A step by step process on how to remove and return the wheel would be great.
Why would you get involved with the steering wheel ?
You paid a repair shop that obviously doesn't do very good work
Take it back
If the steering wheel was not removed for whatever your
car was in the shop for ,then you don't remove it to resolve
the issue.
If the steering rack was replaced, then they did a terrible job
putting it back together

hi this sounds like it could be a couple of things, first the obvious have you checked the fuse? or it might be the relay in the fuse box might need replacing, and the fuel sender unit in the fuel tank, you also can check out the wires going to the sender unit, sometimes you can find these under the rear seat or in the boot/trunk area might be a simple case of one of the wires have come adrift there is a couple of things to check before having the sender unit replaced or the Gage..hope that helps
