It wont start
Sounds like no gas getting to the carb. plugged fuel filter, fuel line, bad fuel pump. the carb should squirt a little gas when the throttle is pumped. leave ignition off while looking down the carb and pump the throttle linkage to visually check that gas is squirting down the carb with each stroke of the linkage. maybe you are just out of gas!!

does it have spark? you did verify fuel pump working properly? could it have a clogged converter? is the engine lite on?

If it starts with starting fluid, this means the firing and electrical is fine, however, its not getting fuel. I suggest trying the fuel filter first, but, its probably going to be the fuel pump.

I also had this problem with mine. There's a main power cable that runs to the battery. The bolt was completely corroded, so there was no connection = no power to start the truck. Check that, it'll cost ya less than 5 bucks to fix.

i found there is an electrical componenet, has to do with the computer, is a small black box on the distributer. if all else fails, but the general consensus is this part.
