I tried the instructions in the manual, but they seem to be written for a keyed igniition and my 2008 ES350 is keyless.

This is an All Wheel Drive, so I don't know if that makes a difference.

PRESS AND HOLD IN THE TRIPOMETER RESET BUTTON. WITH IT IN, TURN THE KEY TO THE ON POSITION WITHOUT STARTING THE ENGINE. THE DISPLAY WILL COUNT DOWN IN HASH MARKS FROM 6 TO 0. AFTER IT REACHES 0 RELEASE THE TRIPOMETER RESET, TURN THE KEY TO THE OFF POSITION. ONCE YOU RESTART THE LIGHT SHOULD BE OFF.

Got oil changed today on my 2008 rx350 lexus but the maintance light is still on. How do i get it to turn off?

Oil light needs to be reset. If you still have owners manual the reset procedure should be in the manual. If you had you lexus serviced at the dealership just take it back to them and ask them to reset it.

Maintenance Required message on. Purchased

this light can come on even thought service is not actually due. if the service was performed and the light was not on at the time, sometimes you cannot reset them if they are not actually lit, or 99% of the time the technician forgets if the light was not on. stop by your shop and they can reset it for you in just a few moments, and for no charge. good luck!

Reset the maintenance required light on a lexus rx350

Try this. Put odometer in milage mode, not trip, if aplicable. Hold down odometer reset botton while turning on ignition. Light should blink a few times and go out. This works on Honda and Toyota maybe Lexus too
